The Pit is currently ranked by Golf Digest as one of the Top 50 Courses in America open to the public, and by both Golf Digest and Golfweek as one of North Carolina's Ten Best. This Dan Maples original was sculpted from a 230-acre sand quarry into a truly one-of-a-kind course.
