The two championship golf courses, namely the Magnolia and the Holly, are both stunning, and challenging to golfers of all skill levels. The Magnolia, a "traditional masterpiece", was designed by Gene Hamm, and has played host to the PGA Tour Qualifying School, the LPGA's 's Pinewild Championship in l995, as well US Open Qualifying. The Holly, a Gary Player Signature Course, is fast becoming an area favorite, due to its' panoramic beauty, "risk reward" layout, and some the best greens in the Sandhills. The Holly has played host to many USGA Qualifying events, as well as Carolinas PGA Championships.
